“American Hustle” SAG Screening + Q&A

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation has announced that they will have another “American Hustle” SAG Screening followed by a Q&A today in Los Angeles. Bradley is expected to attend.

Screening followed by a Q&A with Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams and David O. Russell
Saturday, January 11th
3:30pm

Regency Village Theatre
961 Broxton Avenue
Los Angeles

A fictional film set in the alluring world of one of the most stunning scandals to rock our nation, American Hustle tells the story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld (Christian Bale), who along with his equally cunning and seductive British partner Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper). Irving’s unpredictable wife Rosalyn (Jennifer Lawrence) could be the one to pull the thread that brings the entire world crashing down.

We also hope the SAG will live stream the Q&A at their official youtube account but we are not sure they are planning on streaming it.

Today Show Interview

Bradley sat down with the Today Show to talk about “American Hustle“. You can (re)watch his interview below.

Bradley Cooper is all business in “American Hustle,” the big screen crime dramedy based on the 1970s ABSCAM bribery scandal. But when he sat down with TODAY’s Willie Geist to talk about his Golden Globe nominated work in the film, Cooper couldn’t stop laughing.

As Geist asked the questions, the giggles just kept coming, but in time, Cooper settled in and found a calm moment to talk about his work — in particular, the fast track that saw him go straight from last year’s Academy Awards, where he was nominated for his part in “Silver Linings Playbook,” to his role in “Hustle.”

“Yeah, we flew out the next day to Boston and started pre-production, then we were shooting it two and a half weeks later,” he revealed. “Everything was sort of condensed, especially the editing process.”

Find out if the whirlwind production ends in a Golden Globe award for Cooper at Sunday night’s ceremony. The Golden Globe Awards airs Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. on NBC. And see more of the interview with Cooper and hear from other stars, including Brad Pitt and Justin Timberlake, Friday night on “Going for Gold,” a star-studded special hosted by Matt Lauer, at 8 p.m. on NBC.

14th Annual AFI Awards

Bradley attended the 14th Annual AFI Awards in Beverly Hills earlier today. “American Hustle” received one of the AFI Movies Of The Year Awards. His co-star Amy Adams and director David O. Russell also attended the event. The first batch with HQ photos are added in our gallery but we hope we can add more additions later on.

AMERICAN HUSTLE is eight-track entertainment from the feet up – exposing the question, “What is façade and what is for real?” With no detail overlooked, no hair out of place, David O. Russell’s masterful period piece wires audiences into the exhilarating cons of Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Bradley Cooper. Enter Jennifer Lawrence and Jeremy Renner, with all players playing against type, and you have a tale of ambition that is rollicking and emotionally raw – and an anthem to the notion that the art of survival is a story that never ends.
